PRICING
Commissions are quoted based on my current prices plus an additional $100 for consultation and customization. View my current works for sale to see what the prices are like based on the approximate size of the work you are interested in. Shipping and delivery outside of the Lehigh Valley area in Pennsylvania area is additional. When contacting me, please provide your name, address, and approximate size of the painting you’d like to commission.
CONSULTATION
We can consult on the commission via email, text, phone, or video call/conferencing. During our first meeting will discuss the following:
Size of artwork you want
Style of artwork, for example:
Abstract
Landscape
Portrait (human or animal)
Main medium you’d prefer, for example:
Watercolor
Acrylic
Collage
Mixed Media (a combination of different media that create the finished piece)
Substrate you’d prefer, for example:
Stretched Canvas
Cradled panel (a rigid surface)
Paper (framed or unframed)
We will also discuss the color palette and space you’re interested in displaying the artwork. A photo of your space plus dimensions are very helpful. In addition, we will discuss which artworks I have already created you like best so I can best fit the style you’re commissioning.
Commission Contract/Terms
After our first consultation meeting, I will create a commission contract and send it to you via email within 2 business days of our meeting. The contract will look something like this:

Commission Description
The Artist agrees to create a custom artwork based on the Client’s request and references. Details of the commission (subject, style, number of characters, background, etc.) will be confirmed in writing before work begins.Payment
The total price for the commission is $[amount]. This price does not include any additional shipping costs if needed. Shipping will be added, if needed, based on the Artist’s flat rate shipping fees (see Artist’s website for more information). A deposit of 50% the total price must be made upfront before work begins unless otherwise agreed in writing. The remaining balance must be paid before the final artwork is delivered or shipped.Process & Revisions
The Artist will provide a sketch or work-in-progress preview for approval. Minor revisions may be requested once during this time. Major revisions or additional changes after approval may require an additional fee.Turnaround Time
Estimated completion time is [timeframe]. This may vary depending on complexity, queue, or unforeseen circumstances. The Artist will communicate any significant delays.Delivery
Final artwork will be delivered as agreed depending on where the client lives in relation to the Artist. Shipping charges will be applied as needed.Copyright & Usage
The Artist retains full copyright and ownership of the artwork. The Client receives permission to use the artwork for personal use only unless commercial rights are agreed upon separately. The artwork may not be resold, redistributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission from the Artist. Prints of the artwork may not be made by the Client unless print rights are agreed upon separately. The Artist retains the right to make prints of the artwork to sell unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.Portfolio Use
The Artist reserves the right to display the artwork in portfolios, social media, or promotional materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.Cancellation & Refunds
If the commission is cancelled before work begins, a full refund may be issued. In the event you are not happy with the final artwork, you do not have to pay the remaining balance on the commission. No refunds on your deposit will be given once the artwork is finished. You may choose to use that deposit to buy any artwork available on my website or as a credit for a future purchase.Agreement

DELIVERY OR SHIPPING
If your piece needs to be varnished or framed, please allow additional time (up to 1 month) before the artwork is ready for the shipping or delivery process. I will communicate this to you clearly during our consultation process.
